The couple were making plans to marry and share a life together when the accident occurred. Karissa and Kevin enjoyed sharing the symphony, art, ballroom dancing as well as all outdoor activities. In June of 2020, Kevin met the love of his life, Miss Karissa Kessinger. Kevin was gifted with the natural abilities of a born leader and would rise to the rank of Captain. He attended Louisiana State University where his participation in ROTC would lead to an eight-year career in the United States Air Force. From snowboarding, to hunting, camping, travel, flying, scuba diving and even barbecuing, Kevin did everything with the same level of intensity and intentionality, striving to give life his absolute best.
